New series in process
Prometheus’ marks the debut of Fen’s new sculpture series under the working title Force & Form. Four additional pieces are currently in process, each continuing Fen’s exploration of dynamism and vitality.
Fen de Villiers: “This time of aesthetic stagnation has awakened a force within me. I believe we must champion a more vital way of being. My new series grabs back at the great dynamic movements of the past, like Art Deco, Futurism and Vorticism, drawing inspiration from their energy and propelling that spirit forward into a fresh synthesis.”
Through this fusion of past vitality and future vision, Fen aims to rediscover and reinvigorate the dynamic essence of art, creating sculptures that pulse with life and challenge the current malaise.

My sculpture entitled "Tackle" is the next in my new series to be scaled up, first larger in plaster and then on to bronze. Has been a real blast developing this language of forms. Many more works to come!
